Our Beliefs

Our values are simple when it comes to animal care. Here at The Dogmother we believe that all creatures should be treated with love and respect for what that creature is. If that creature would have affection and attention from its own kind then we owe it to that creature to offer the an abundance of the same affection and support . If that creature is used to cuddles, walks, playtimes, a full belly and sleeping on the bed at night - then that's exactly what a creature in our care should expect.

As the name suggests The Dogmother is primarily about caring for dogs. As we have two dogs ourselves we do not feel it would be fair or safe to board any cats or rabbits in our home. They need more freedom than our little lurcher is likely to give them. We are more than happy to sit a while with a cat or rabbit in its own home so that it is not isolated. Smaller furry creatures require different levels of interaction, so we can accommodate their needs either in our home or theirs. We want to replicate as closley as we can the care you give your pet.
